HOW THE SCHEME WORKS

Grounded in Goodness puts farmers first, rewarding the production of high-quality British beef through sustainable farming practices.

Farmers choose actions that best suit their farm and receive quarterly farm payments based on the number of actions selected and the level of supply. The programme rewards both the maintenance of existing sustainable action and new actions.

Designed to grow with farmers, Grounded in Goodness will continue to evolve over time. These developments will be shaped by the experiences of our farms.

Grounded in Goodness provides a flexible framework that works for a range of farming systems.
